The new brochure, "Energy Management in the City – Toolkit," is a comprehensive guide to intelligent energy management systems. Its goal is to support sustainable urban development by presenting solutions based on information and communication technologies.

The publication includes information about the Energy Management Database (BZE) in Bydgoszcz, an innovative solution implemented in the city that automates the collection, distribution, and archiving of documents related to utility payments. The robotization of processes has increased the efficiency of the office and led to financial savings. It also showcases examples of cities implementing innovative solutions: Copenhagen, Boston, and Yokohama, which have successfully implemented intelligent energy management systems, achieving measurable economic and environmental benefits.

The brochure also presents tools supporting the development of energy management systems. It describes how to implement an intelligent energy management system in a city step-by-step, from evaluating working time, setting priorities, and seeking funding sources, to employee training and energy consumption analysis. The publication offers practical tips and real-world examples that can support local government units in energy transformation.
